Surrey Pickleball Club
Welcome to your information centre for the Surrey Pickleball Club
During our playing season, the club provides on-court mentoring for skill levels 2.0 to 3.5, emphasizing a variety of topics, skills, and strategies. Mentors, who are club members, will be available for several of the Regular Play Sessions. To see which Play Sessions have Mentoring, check the Events in the CALENDAR.
Some of the Mentored Sessions will be mini-clinic in nature, others will be more casual, with the Mentors roaming the courts, observing the players, and making suggestions. Sessions often will be split between game play and instructional training time.
Less experienced players, including beginners, will be taught the rules, how to keep score, and the fundamentals of play such as serving, forehand and backhand shots, lobs and dinking.
More experienced players will learn to improve their shot selection and offensive/defensive technique, refine their shot skills, learn how and when to change the pace of play and learn to choose, implement and change a game strategy.
If you want to attend a Mentored Session, simply signup for that session in the CALENDAR.
